Schema Markup Generator

Generate starter JSON-LD for LocalBusiness, FAQPage and Service entities. Keep only accurate fields that match visible content, then validate the result before publishing.

Copy this into your <head>

How to use it

  1. Fill in the form.
  2. Click Copy.
  3. Paste inside your page <head> wrapped in <script type="application/ld+json">…</script>.
  4. Test the URL at Google's Rich Results Test.

Important limits

The generator cannot verify that a business, address, service or answer is genuine. Remove empty placeholder values and do not mark up information visitors cannot see. FAQ rich results are generally limited by Google to authoritative government and health sites, so FAQPage markup should serve accurate description rather than an expectation of expanded results.

Service-area businesses should follow platform address rules and avoid inventing local offices. For larger sites, create connected Organization, LocalBusiness, WebSite, WebPage and Service nodes from one trusted data source so names and identifiers do not drift between templates.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I paste this JSON-LD? +
Put the output inside a <script type="application/ld+json"> element on the page it describes. Test supported search features with Google's Rich Results Test and broader vocabulary with Schema.org's validator.
Does schema improve rankings? +
Structured data is not a guaranteed ranking boost. Valid, policy-compliant markup helps systems understand content and can make eligible pages available for supported search features, but display is never guaranteed.
LocalBusiness or Organization? +
Use the most specific type that truthfully describes the entity and visible page. A local or service-area business may use a LocalBusiness subtype; a non-local company may use Organization. Connect related nodes with stable @id values in advanced implementations.
